Introduction:

The NOHA European Master’s in International Humanitarian Action was selected by the European Commission among the first 19 Erasmus Mundus Masters Courses (EMMC), which started at the beginning of the 2004-2005 academic year. The Erasmus Mundus Programme supports European top-quality Masters Courses and enhances the visibility and attractiveness of European higher education in third countries. It fosters cooperation between higher education institutions and academic staff in Europe and Third Countries with a view to creating poles of excellence and providing highly trained human resources. Joint programmes must involve mobility between the institutions of the consortium and lead to the award of recognised joint, double or multiple degrees to successful students / doctoral candidates.
The NOHA Mundus Master’s (in International Humanitarian Action) has been designed for people working or intending to work in the field of humanitarian action; regardless of their race, gender, religion, age, and/or geographical origin.
