The Actuarial Diversity Scholarship Encourages Academic Achievements By Awarding scholarships At USA In 2011
Scholarship Description:
This program recognizes and encourages academic achievements by awarding scholarships to full time undergraduate and graduate students pursuing a degree that may lead to a career in the actuarial profession.The applicant must have at least one birth parent who is a member of one of the following minority groups Black/African American, Hispanic, Native North American.The candidate must have minimum GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale), emphasis on math or actuarial courses. High school seniors must have a minimum ACT math score of 28 or SAT math score of 600. Intent on pursuing a career in the actuarial profession.
The Actuarial Foundation independently manages this program. An award will be provided in the recipient’s name to any accredited U.S. educational institution to cover educational expenses. The award will be divided to cover multiple semesters or other terms comprising the 2011/2012 academic year.
