International Student Exchange(ISE) presents two-Month Exchange Program for Elementary Students- Ontario, Canada

Introduction:
ISE ONTARIO a registered not-for-profit corporation, is offering to Ontario students a variety of reciprocal exchange programs in Europe and in Quebec. Affordable student exchanges with an educational focus were first organized by The Ontario Ministry of Education in the 1970s and the Ministry continues to support such programs. Included among the ISE ONTARIO European exchange partners are the Ministry of Education offices that were exchange partners of the Ontario Ministry until it ceased its direct involvement in student exchanges.
The ISE ONTARIO reciprocal exchange program with France for elementary students has continued to grow over the past few years. This program is ideal for Extended/Immersion French students, and for strong Core French students. It seems best for the Ontario student to apply during grade 7 and to participate in the exchange during grade 8. The visiting student requires a full English program while in school here. The Multicultural Excellence Program, formerly known as the Minority Encouragement Program, is a collaboration with the Saint Paul Public Schools to encourage students of to enroll in higher education. Students are selected in the ninth grade, based upon their scores on the Metropolitan Achievement Test (MAT), passing the Basic Standards Test, and citizenship (permanent resident or citizen). The first group of 7th graders was selected in 1987. The program is intended to both enhance academic skills and familiarize students with post-secondary opportunities. Ideally, students should participate continuously from ninth grade through high school graduation.

Joint Masters Programmes 2010/11-Graduate Students-Warwick/Chalmers/Gothenburg University-UK/France/Sweden

Erasmus Mundus offers The Joint Masters Programme for the year 2010/11 to Graduate Students at Warwick/Chalmers/Gothenburg Universities in UK, France and Sweden

Our Masters degree teaches the tools to analyse complex systems and to understand their emergent behaviour.  Students are offered a variety of research project opportunities to develop experience applying this to fresh challenges from the real world and within academic research. The programme runs over two years (120 ECTS);  it is half taught and half by research and leads to a JOINT (or double) Masters degree of University of Warwick, Ecole Polytechnique, Chalmers University (Gothenberg) and the University of Gothenberg.  Students will be required to spend extended time in at least two centres and to join in events/collaborations across all three. Admissions are centralised (students must apply through Warwick, the coordinating node) and successful candidates will start in September at the Centre whose initial teaching provides the best bridge between their undergraduate background and the programme as a whole.  All students will have mobility opportunities after six months, and earlier for some well prepared students.

The Public Affairs Section, U.S. Embassy Hanoi offers The Global Undergraduate Exchange Program for the year 2010 in Vietnam

The Public Affairs Section (PAS), U.S. Embassy Hanoi is seeking candidates for the 2010 Global Undergraduate Exchange Program. First through third year undergraduate students who demonstrate leadership through academic work, community involvement and extracurricular activities and have a good command of English are invited to apply for the program. The application deadline is 5:00 PM, November 16, 2009. For the academic year 2010-11, the program will place approximately 90 students from countries in Asia at U.S. colleges and universities, starting in August 2010 or January 2011. Up to 10 scholarships are available for Vietnamese students. Scholarships are for either one academic-year (approximately 10 months) or one semester (approximately five months). The length of the scholarship award will depend upon the student applicant’s interests and availability, as well as placement options and availability of funds. In addition, participants will be eligible for two to four weeks of intensive English language instruction in the United States prior to the start of the academic portion of their program.
