Postdoctoral Fellowship In Drugs Of Misuse With The Aim To Carry Out Chemical Analysis At UK In 2010

Job Description:
Research involving drug availability via on-line sources and drugs of misuse with the aim to carry out chemical analysis using a range of analytical techniques. The analysis will focus on the determination of purity and chemical identity.

Main Duties And Responsibilities:
Involvement in research activities, involving analysis of drug products available over the internet, drugs of misuse and related patient safety issues.
2 Work with other disciplines within The School of Pharmacy to deliver an integrated approach to delivery of the MPharm degree programme.
3 Attend meetings and write reports as required.
4 Help co-ordinate work of undergraduate research projects.
5 Perform such other duties as the Chair in Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics may reasonably require.

Experience/Qualification:
    * Applicants will have a first degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry or a related subject and a PhD in Pharmaceutical or Chemical Analysis; experience in the analysis of formulated products would be an advantage.
    * Relevant experience.
