Queen’s University Belfast Frank Knox Memorial Fellowship for the academic year 2010-2011 for Postgraduate Study at Harvard University

The Frank Knox Memorial Fellowship program provides funding for students from Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the United Kingdom to conduct graduate study at Harvard University. Through in-country competitions, Knox Fellowships are typically awarded to 15 newly admitted students each year, including six from the U.K. and three each from Australia, Canada and New Zealand. Knox Fellowship funding is guaranteed for up to two years of study at Harvard for students in degree programs requiring more than one year of study. There can be as many as 30 Knox Fellows at Harvard in any given year.
Fellowships are available for five graduate students, men or women, from the United Kingdom to study for up to two consecutive years in one of the Faculties of Harvard.

Value of Fellowship:

The value of each Fellowship is $23,000 plus tuition and health service fees.


Eligibility:

The competition is open to British citizens at the time of application who are studying for a first or higher degree, have spent at least two of the last four years at a United Kingdom University, or University College, and will have graduated before taking up an award in September 2010, or are graduates employed in business, education or government who graduated not earlier than 2008 and wish to attend the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, Harvard Business School, Graduate School of Design, Harvard Divintiy School, Graduate School of Education, Harvard Kennedy School, Harvard Law School and the School of Public Health.

Scholarship deadline:

Applications must be submitted through the Academic Affairs Office, Level 6, Administration Building by 4.30pm on 20 October 2009
