Humanities Fellowship Program for Research in Japan 2009/2010 – Japanese university

Field of Research: All fields of the humanities, social sciences and natural sciences are included under these programs.

To be eligible, Japanese researchers (applicants) must be affiliated with Type A/B institution of the types.

Eligibility for Scholarship:
•    JSPS does not find or introduce host researchers.
•    JSPS does not accept applications submitted directly by foreign researchers or through diplomatic channels

How to apply:
1. Japanese researchers submit applications wishing to invite a foreign researcher.

2. Foreign nominating authorities recommend candidates from their respective countries. A person of the nationality or citizenship of any of the countries listed in nominating authorities (Table#II) may apply using the latter procedure.
