Scholarship Description:
In order to be eligible, a candidate must meet the following requirements:
For PhD candidate:
1. participation in PhD studies at the Jagiellonian University
alternatively a candidate who successfully passed the entry examination to a PhD study during the last two years and completed no more than one year of the studies should submit appropriate documentation
2. master degree in chemistry
3. good background in organic chemistry and particularly in asymmetric synthesis
4. good command in English
5. high motivation demonstrated by references of the candidate’s thesis tutor
For postdoctoral candidates:
1. PhD degree in chemistry
2. good background in synthetic organic chemistry
3. no more than 2 years from completion of PhD
4. good record of papers published in international journals
5. good command in English
For undergraduate candidates:
1. completion of at least their 3rd year in chemistry
2. good record in organic chemistry
3. good command in EnglishApplication:
1. application including information on cumulative average grade for the studies, publications and presentations at scientific conferences, awards and prizes, scholarships, etc.
2. degree certificates
3. at least one letter of recommendation from a scientist who is familiar with the applicant’s previous achievements and who can judge his\her potential as a PhD-student (only for postdoc candidates)
Postdocs Candidates:
