Institute for Humane Studies offers Film and Fiction Scholarships for the 2010/11 session for students pursuing a Master of Fine Arts degree at George Mason University,US
Film & Fiction Scholarships of up to $10,000 are awarded by the Institute for Humane Studies to students pursuing a Master of Fine Arts degree and who share an appreciation for the potential and promise of a free society. During the past ten years, IHS has awarded more than $270,000 in scholarships.The scholarship can be used towards tuition and expenses, and is open to students pursuing an MFA full-time in the 2010-2011 school year.
Eligibility:
The applicants must:
- Be pursuing a Master of Fine Arts degree.
- share an appreciation for the potential and promise of a free society.
- be pursuing MFAs in a variety of areas are eligible(film directing,production,screenwriting playwriting,fiction writing)
How to apply:
- As part of your application you will need to ask three individuals to complete an evaluation of you.
- Applicants interested must submit the application form well in time before the deadline expires.
