Binks Trust Scholarship for the LLM European Law for the Year 2010 by Edinburgh Law School UK

Edinburgh Law School is delighted to announce The Binks Trust Scholarships to support students taking the LLM in European Law. This new initiative forms part of a wider effort by the School of Law, its alumni and supporters to enhance financial support for its students at all levels in the context of the School’s 300th anniversary celebrations in 2007.

Award details:
The award comprises Home/EU LLM in European Law fees and a £500 study support grant (to assist with, for example, the purchase of books, printing costs, photocopying costs, or other related learning costs).

Eligibility:

The award will be available to graduates who have an outstanding academic record in law; preference will be given to candidates who are ordinarily resident in the United Kingdom (minimum of three years preceding application).

How to apply:

Applications should be made in parallel with the application for the LLM in European Law. Applicants must send an email to pg.law@ed.ac.uk indicating that they wish to apply for a Binks Trust Scholarship and also apply for the LLM in European Law through the normal University application route.

Scholarship Deadlines:

The closing date for the receipt of applications for 2010-2011 will be 31 May 2010. Applications for 2010-2011 awards will be accepted from 1 November 2009.
