Freemasons University Scholarships Is To Assist Able Students Complete Their University Education At New Zealand In 2011

Freemasonry as it exists today, was formed almost 300 years ago. Through the benevolent funds of individual Lodges, as well as the Grand Lodge of New Zealand Fund of Benevolence, it provides for both local and national needs.
This assistance ranges from contributions to food banks, grants to victims of flood and other natural disasters, grants and scholarships to tertiary students, provision of equipment for emergency services and assistance towards the equipping of community facilities.The purpose of the Freemasons University Scholarships is to assist able students complete their university education in their chosen field.
Eligibility:
Available each year to students who are NZ Citizens who demonstrate good citizenship and show leadership potential undertaking their final year of a full-time course of study in:
(a) a Bachelor’s degree, or
(b) a Graduate Diploma, or
(c) a Bachelor’s degree with Honours, or
(d) a Postgraduate Diploma, or
(e) the first year of a Master’s degree.
